This is a match shirt wth a difference. On the normal match shirts there was a white panel imprinted within the stripes on the back for the number to go. In the official replica shirts the back was all stripes. This shirt has a white patch applied over the top of the stripes and then the number applied. This could be a reserve team shirt as it doesn't have any league patches on the sleeves.
You can tell it is from the very beginning of the season as the Sandtex logo is printed onto a white flock panel that has been heat applied to the shirt. This shirt was made available in limited numbers at the very start of the 1997/8 season. After the beginning of the season the shirts had the Sandtex logo screen printed in red direct to the shirt. Anyone who bought this version was offered a correctly printed shirt free of charge once they became available.
Official Replica shirt. This shirt has been signed by many of the players past and present who attended Kerry Mayos testimonial game in July 2007. Signatures include Peter Ward, Steve Foster, Jimmy Case, Steve Melton, Gerry Ryan, Simon Rodger, Rod Thomas, Kerry Mayo (of course!) Lee Steele, Paul Brooker, Robbie Reinault, Richard Carpenter, Peter Smith.
Introduced at Wembley for the 1991 playoff final, the legendary Chewits wrapper shirt! This is a match shirt, used as a ‘blood shirt’ on the day. This shirt was never made available for sale with NOBO as the sponsor, the following season TSB became the sponsor. This shirt is signed by John Byrne who played in the final.
Matchworn away shirt from the very beginning of the season as the Sandtex logo is printed onto a white flock panel that has been heat applied to the shirt. This shirt was only used for one game, away at Swansea in August 1997. After then the shirts had the Sandtex logo screen printed in white direct to the shirt. This version was never available for fans to buy.
Matchworn shirt? This is an odd one, it has the number and nameset for Gary Hart on the back, in black. We didn't have player names on our shirts for this season, and the numbers were always in white. Where did I get this shirt? Well, I got it directly from Gary Hart, it's signed by him too, but he couldn't remember why it has his name on it, and why the details are black!
Matchworn shirt used by Gary Hart. This shirt was originally used as a promotion for the Fatboy Slim album, Palookaville. The Withdean Stadium was renamed Palookaville for one game, against Sheffield United on 2nd October 2004, and this shirt was worn. The shirt was such a hit with fans that it became the away/third shirt for the next year and a half.
Official replica shirt. This shirt was worn only once in the game away at Crystal Palace on 18 October, this shirt is signed by Paul McShane scorer of the only goal in the 1-0 win. Note the commemorative embroidery, showing the game details and the final score, compare with the embroidery on the matchworn shirt.
special warm up t-shirt worn before the game against Chelsea on 20 April 2021. The European Super League had been announced 48 hours earlier and had been met globally with abject ridicule, disgust and disappointment. During the game the six England based clubs of the ill thought out closed shop league withdrew due to massive pressure from fans, the media and even the players themselves.

Official replica shirt. Obtained at The Silverlands, Englands highest football ground, on my way back from an away game at Huddersfield. Made by SKkits, a firm set up by the Goalkeeping Coach at Altrincham FC, Ian Senior, and supplying many non league sides in the north west of England.
Official replica shirt, The team was called Melbourne Heart for about 4 seasons before they were taken over by City Football Group in 2014, and were renamed Melbourne City and their colours were changed to sky blue. This shirt is signed by Brazilian midfielder, Helbert Frederico Carreiro da Silva, known as Fred, he played for Heart between 2011-2013.
Official replica shirt. This bizarre fourth shirt came into being thanks to a fan bringing a carpet to a match because he was doing some building work on his house, the team won, so the club saw it as a lucky carpet and made the special shirt in its honour! Don't think it was ever worn in a game though.
Not strictly an England shirt but wasn't sure where to post it. This is a genuine Admiral shirt, commissioned by Bang-On Brewery in Bridgend in South Wales, to commemorate the Euro 2020 tournament (which was played a year late in 2021). This one is a throwback to the classic England shirt of 1980-1983 .
